Sure it is. The article he linked mentioned two men, Clooney and Pitt, and mentioned some "research" and linked to another article. That article also mentioned only Clooney and Pitt. Well, no duh.

It could be a combination of a few things. First, the bar being lowered by a lot of young guys being really immature and not really taking care of themselves. Add the melding of cultures and generations and older guys working out and being more stable. I think it is a new-ish thing because not many 22 year old women 20 years ago were looking at "old" guys. There were plenty of decent, attractive guys our own age to date.

Many young women find older men attractive (and many young men find older women attractive blabla: age contrast is a turn-on for some individuals), but IMO -from what I can gather around me, being surrounded by 19-to-35 year old women and men- the current trend is women in general going for (and getting) young men. With more and more young guys taking great care of their health and physique, having more and more education (because the job market demands it and because there are more options available nowadays) and possessing all the physical and psychological qualities young people naturally possess, women (and especially those who don't need financial support, which is something that older guys can provide, while most young guys can't) are no longer thinking that only old men are real men.

Not so long ago, women felt compelled to view young men in a different light: older women thought they should always see them as potential sons, and younger women had to think they wouldn't be suitable fathers and providers to their kids, etc. But with more young women planning their future with their career and independence seriously in mind, things are changing or, at least, becoming much more diversified.

I agree. I just read an article about Diane Lane and it was refreshing to see pictures of a real person in a magazine. She said she hadn't done any work done (I believe it to be true) even though she'd been tempted, but the desire to age with integrity always stopped her - so far that is... However, Diane Lane is only 45. There are plenty regular women this age who look just good as she does.

I like her a lot and hope she doesn't turn into some plastic doll like Joanne Rivers... Speaking of the latter, collagen must works on the hands, too, because no woman her age can have such hands, unless that's just the airbrushing of the whole picture.

"If I have one more face lift, I'm gonna have to start shaving."

LOL, that's why I don't mind Joan Rivers, she admits she had a few surgeries.

Its these idiots that try to act like its all natural that irritate me.

A few?! The woman is brand new! She must've had as many as that sad Lioness lady, but she somehow lucked out with better results.

I don't mind her myself... As a matter of fact, I wanted to see the documentary about her, but didn't have time when it was in the theater.
