The storm took down about a third of my Bradford Pear today. Which was fine really...damn tree is gonna come down sooner or later - it's easier to have it come down a little at a time I guess. My son's buddy sent my a picture so I knew it was going to be a hellofa job to chop up, but the boys said that they were going to start working on it, so I was expecting to see a lot less tree on the yard when I got home.

Right. They were in there playing on the daggone computer..."Oh it's too wet mom...you'll sink right into the mud...can't chop it up yet...". I changed clothes, went out to the shed and got my axe...and had about a fourth of it chopped up before my neighbor and his wife came home across the street and yelled out "where are the boys??". I told him they were useless teenagers and I was over them. The heck with them. Yeah I was MAD. He went to the front door and called the boys out...told them to get their butts outside and let's get that tree chopped up. We came in just shy of 8pm...all done. Took all 5 of us...what a mess! But I am so glad it's done!!

Chessie, i know what you mean.
I cut up a lot of downed timber.

We took our beast of a cat in for an oil change and a tune up. We recently switched vets and this one is a lady, and we've seen her twice in the last month, every time I see her, I for some reason think of JustJulia, I don't know what JJ looks like but I think she said she was tall, this vet lady is probably 5'10 or a little better. She's pretty with medium brown hair about shoulder length.

IDK, its funny how this damn forum sinks into the gray matter......

Aww, thanks Rakin. I wonder, are you called Rakin because you're rakin' in the women? :P

Some questions are best left unanswered, you'll need to read the book when I get it published someday.

Unlike some of the guys that visit here, I believe you can tell I'm certainly not a hater of women. I appreciate fine works of art & beauty.
