I met this girl in my history class and I am really interested in her We started talking and walking each other back to the library and we would have conversations that last 30 mins or more. I asked her to a study date and she agree, but when I met her at the library she wanted to meet with a friend of hers. Should I take this as a bad sign or continue my pursuit? Any advice is greatly appreciated. God Bless!

Maybe she has a test coming up and they need to go over things for real. At school give her space don't think too much into it, if she is interested in you any further she will pursue you she knows where to find you right?

We both needed to study for a History Test on Friday (which is what we went over). Her friend is not in that class and her friend was just over to the side reading her textbook. Her friend never talked the entire time. God Bless

Don't overthink it at all just let things flow naturally and see where it leads. It could be somewhere it could be nowhere but being friends. Either way it isn't all bad and if you would invite the friend into your conversation perhaps the friend would have felt more welcomed.

I'm a little confused. Before it sounded like she broke the study date with you to hang with her friend, now it sounds like she kept the date but her friend was just there, off to the side.

If that's the case, I wouldn't read anything in to it. Maybe they had plans together later and her friend didn't have anything else to do until then. Or maybe she was nervous meeting you there alone for the first time in case you turned out to be a psychopath. Or maybe she's too frugal to have a library card and she needed to use her friend's card (probably not, but there has to be some reason this is in the Frugal Living forum).

I'd just ask her to hang out again and see what happens.
