I hear OKC has became a bastion of confused bi's aka "*****/gender-neutral/insert womyn's studies term here" and judging from how few women here in the Houston area are active or decent looking, I guess it is true enough for me to delete my (blank) profile.

Reminds me, back when I used the site, there was only ONE straight woman in my small town my age that was on there.
POF seems like bottom of the barrel at least in my area, OKC i wasnt terribly attracted to many of the girls and the ones I reached out to, likely had a 1,000 other guys do the same. I've used a couple apps, Tinder (dated a girl for a while on there only for her to flake) and Hinge. One of the things i felt like with online dating is, everyone is looking for the bigger better deal. Some people are so boring in there chat that it feels like u are pulling teeth to get them to converse, i just stop responding usually.
OKC only is free to a certain point. Free give you access to people who rate 85% and lower to your match. If you want 85% and higher, you have to pay now.
Dating sites are only as good as the people who use them. I find most people will make a profile on the sites they desire to project themselves as....i.e. -eHarmony, alt.com, christianmingle, etc......

^This - And not to mention, most of these apps etc. are treated as a game. Tinder even says "play again" after making a match. I call them "Ego Booster Bar Games." Something people play at a bar with friends to boost their ego or as a form of entertainment.
Thank goodness I ignored all the naysayers and tried POF. We'll be together a year this month.
POF in my area had trash and some more trash
But that's amazing! Congrats!
