Despite both stories being despicable, please do not compare the two.

There is a huge difference between disclosing and retelling activities you yourself were personally involved in (which is not an invasion of privacy) and installing a webcam without consent and airing, distributing, advertising and mocking an activity that others were engaging in, with the intent to "out" and shame.

She revealed very personal information about these guys, without their consent.. The rutgers guy filmed something that took place in his own room.

Are you kidding me? It was their room and he asked his roomate if he could use it privately. His roomate then when into another dorm room, activated the webcam and began tweeting about it and inviting people to view them live.

How can you honestly even compare the two?

And the men she reported on had an expectation to privacy as well given the nature of their activities. Failure to see that is just a violation of plain common sense.
