OK. I had to bring this back today, because I turned the papers in today!
I almost walked out, twice, but I thought about my son, and his needs, instead of my ex`s needs. I know that I did the right thing....he`s gonna have a fit though, when he finds out!
I just really hope that they don`t throw him in jail..its out of my hands now.

Seriously, don't worry about him being thrown in jail - he is months and months of noncomplicance with a court order before that would happen.

The guy is a total jerk, but you women seem to choose them way too many times and are either clueless or don't care.

Oh good grief - please provide a link to this so-called "proof", as I do not believe that bull for a second.
Even without realizing it most of the time women are looking to have sex with the strongest, most virile of men simply because from an evolutionary stand point they instinctively want the man capable of taking care of them and their offspring. That HAS been proven. Though all bets are probably off if the woman is smashed in the bar and goes home with some loser.

To the best of my knowledge, if he does not pay support, there will be a garnishment of wages and income tax refunds, seizure of checking accounts and personal property. Those kind of things. The interest and penalties are huge. He will learn fast.

Good for you. I hope all goes well. Like loves said they will assess his financial situation and give him opportunity to comply. It will be up to him if he goes to jail. I hope he isnt too hard headed.

Honestly George do you believe there are quarentees with marriage. That ppl dont misrepresent themselves or change over time.
Do tell what the warning signs are that a man may become unemployed 10 yrs. down the road or that a man wont be a perfect father or keep up his child support payments or cheat or develop additictions or medical conditions.
