Everyone's looks different, and the ones in the x rated flicks tend to be so "plastic" looking (no flesh). Do you expect them to look like that, or do you like variety? Or does it not matter - just happy to be getting some!
Of course, grooming and hygiene aside... That's a given.
Female "nether regions" differ, as you say, from individual to individual. What's important is to love the given woman the said man is with, and that means her body as well as her heart and mind.
Having said all this, hygiene and grooming can go a LONG way. I personally dislike "shrubs" or "haystacks." "Landing strips" are more to my liking.
Men should remember this when women complain about men's own private parts being unkempt, odoriferous, etc. Running hot water & soap are wonderful indeed.
I'm not looking at them, unless oral sex is involved, and when it is, I try not to think about how it looks too much at all.
That may be another reason I don't care much for the shaved look, other than the fact that it makes it look prepubescent...and I've never been into that.
