I actually prefer being alone most of the time.

I guess I must be warped, cause when I read the title to this thread, my first thought was about how some of the ladies here are always talking about their "Rabbits" and other various power tools.

Yeah, but don't say that too loudly, or you might offend the young 'uns...

Anyone else enjoy doing things on their own?
My dh is a very intense person and drains a lot of time and energy from me because I have to constantly listen to his rants and raves when he is around. It is extremely draining after a while. I really cherish the moments that occur after he has gone to bed for the night and I sit up on my little computer talking to the world. I also love when he is OUTSIDE working and I can hide in the peace and quiet of some smooth jazz and tranquility.

Having been an only child, I have always been able to amuse myself and be happy with my own company. But now I savor the moments more than ever.

Yes I do. I like doing things alone and random at times, meaning I don't always plan these little journeys I go on before head of time. I have a few friends(and associates), but they are often busy with work or school. I am too.
Sometimes in the summer, I take train trips to the city and walk around downtown at Millennium Park. I love the big city vibe and seeing beautiful ladies everywhere. I must say doing the solo thing does get boring at times. I'm in the search for a girlfriend that I can spend time with. I just turned 21 today (finally!) and not getting any younger.

I wish I had a year to do things on my own but unfortunately there is always something that has to be done! Never a day of rest.

Totally, but then I've always been a loner.

Besides, I'm never really "on my own" - I have my C-D family to hang out with whenever I want. They've always been there behind me - and believe me, I've felt them there plenty of times...
