Sometimes you just can't reinvent the wheel. No matter how many new fragrances come out, my husband always reverts to his signature fragrance, Kouros by YSL and it smells amazing on him.

I can tell you from my personal experience that no matter how long ago they were launched, some of the bestselling men's fragrances today are still Acqua di Gio, L'eau de Issey and Dolce & Gabbana for Men (classic one).

BTW, no fragrance will smell exactly the same on everybody, because it blends in with your personal body chemistry and also depends on your skin and the weather. Therefore, never buy a fragrance just because you've smelled it on somebody else or on a blotter card.

Oh, absolutely! I don't care how old it is. It may be a staple or it may be new to me and if I like it, I like it.

I have a rule of thumb when it comes to women's fragrances - do not bother even sniff anything new with some young celebrity's name on it!

I agree, I will not touch anything with a singer's or actor's name on it, although those fragrances are keeping us in business.

I love "The Curve" by L. Claiborne.

Amazon.com: Curve for Men: Health & Personal Care: Reviews, Prices & more

Also like Drakkar (pretty classic).

Hmm...

I'm not too preoccupied with names when it comes to men's cologne, but Hugo and Drakkar Noir come to mind...

I prefer a "i just stepped out of the shower" scent... cologne is like a repellant.. you want to smell "Manly" then use something natural with a spicy (cinnamon), cider smell to it (my preference)... not these "chemicals"..

OMG, I met my sister's boyfriend for the first time on Saturday and he smelled awesome. Apparently Gucci's Envy works for me. (I'll be ordering some of that for my husband and I hope it smells the same!!!!)
