Go for it! My first kiss was not mind blowing, it was awkward and teeth were involved. Pointer- firm lips= good, sloppy slobbery fish lips= bad! Now, go practice!

Considering that you're not really 'doing' anything that is 'sacred' I'd say don't give it too much thought and if the opportunity arises go ahead and do it.
