It's the whole woman, not just the hair color. Men that truly like women and who are worth trying to please merely regard such things as hair color, are not limited by them.

Confidence and poise are far more important and attention-getting. Unless of course, one is only seeking attention from shallow, blonde-chasing type men....

I prefer brunettes and I personally tend to notice them first.

What we're more likely to notice isn't nearly as important as what maintains our interest. I may be more likely to notice a blond just as I'm more likely to notice a woman who's really tall, well endowed, or has a revealing outfit. But as I've gotten older, I've learned not to care too much about what hair color someone has. It's not like a brunette will be invisible to me.

I'm in a similar boat. I will never be blonde, and I often feel that I get passed over for women who ARE blonde. Either that, or I get passed over for women with long dark hair. I usually feel at a disadvantage.

I have a long, blonde, mullet wig I bought. I'll admit...it gets quite the attention when I wear it golfing.

I much prefer and usually notice brunettes first. However, I don't and won't exclude blondes (or other hair colors) and certainly notice an attractive woman regardless of hair color. I do think that blondes may need more makeup to look good, as they can look "washed out" otherwise.

Brunettes all the way. A blonde has to be absolutely spectacular for me to even notice her. I can't get enough of women with dark hair, dark eyes and dark skin...yummy!

That's why most blondes tan so much I guess.
I happen to like the contrast of my fair skin with dark hair. I've heard dark hair isn't as flattering when you get older though.
I don't know what it is about blonde hair though. I guess because blonde hair is recessive and there are much fewer natural blondes than brunettes.

I've heard it said that guys practice on blondes and marry brunettes. Is this true??

Do you prefer blondes or brunettes (or girls with black hair or red hair)?

Basically, if a girl is young (20s), single, professional, and pretty and she has been blonde for years and she is thinking about going back to brown because it is easier to maintain, what should she worry about? Should she expect less attention? To be taken more seriously? Will guys approach more quickly because they think she's attainable or will they be reserved because they think the brunette is reserved?

(Also, assume the girl has long, straight hair if that is a factor). Thanks

No..I get more attention from men with my dark hair than my Blonde friends do..
