You never know what may have recently sparked your subconscious but I've found that once you've moved on never go back.

10 years is a long time. You both (should) have changed, matured. I went through the same thing. At the time I WAS single and lonely and one of my friends thought we could re-ignite that old spark. It didn't work out. I wanted the man I knew 10 years ago.

Very true! At the time, we were both young and sadly, stupid. Now we are both old and matured, not only have we changed but the world we lived in then, is no more. Age truly changes people. It is true relationships tend to last if both are older but the 20s , in my view, are very difficult years to maintain relationships. Had we met now that we are in our 30s, things would be much better and maybe, we would not have separated. Anyway, like you said, I will never know what suddenly sparked my subconscious, especially since I am with a guy I love too much and am extremely busy with my life in general. I barely have time to close my eyes to sleep but each time I go to bed, guess what? He appears in my dreams...This just started a month ago so I am hoping it's just a phase. LOL
