OR, the "drama-obsessed nutjob" tried hundreds of times to get something from him that she needed, and he just wouldn't give her. It could have been a sign of incompatibility, or ignorance. Or in the rare case, just been a flat out, mistrusting, drama-obsessed nutjob. But I turn all stones before making a judgment call.
Anyone who stays in a relationship in which they get so little and forces them to turn into a drama mama IS a drama mama. Others move on.

My ex was always doing this and it would always be a no win situation for me so I reached a point to where I just refused to participate and finally moved out.
It means that he/she was looking for a way to justify cheating. It's a pretty common tactic from what I understand.
