When I was a kid, we went trick-or-treating at night. In fact, when my son was little, we went at night. Now it's not even dark out, and everyone's done trick-or-treating!
We gave a lot away, but still have a HUGE bowl of candy. If anyone wants to take this off my hands, feel free!

Happy Birthday JJ, Fleetie and Neemy! Welcome back Annie, glad you had a great trip!
My birthday's not until June, but I don't mind getting a start on the celebration, early! It's the turning 41 part I don't want to rush. I'm still adjusting to 40.

They came around here early too. It definitely is different than when I was growing up (or even a few years back). Now they come in cars (and I don't even think they live in our neighborhood ).
My son's PTA collects the leftover candy and sends care packages to our troops. I'll be doing that tomorrow, less the several I had to eat myself first.
