Lavalife TV ads are hilarious, because they're always some hot young thing in a low cut top rolling around on the floor with a phone and saying that she's waiting just to talk to you. I always wonder "who falls for that crap?" and lo, TVSG does. Surprise!
Yep, TVSG should get ready to see a really high phone bill. Oh sure they sometimes say "It's free to try", but once you've tried it, thats when they get ya.
And of course as per the norm with a TVSG thread, we all know some dilemma will appear and will lead to another thread discussing the problem, and it will lead to nowhere. So for him it will really be all for nothing.
If CD is around in 10 years you all know we will still be reading the same things with a few more excuses thrown in by that time lol.
He's been such a staple for a few years now that I sometimes have to catch myself before repeating myself. Not that he doesn't repeat himself endlessly but you know what I mean. Anyway, I have visions of Grasshopper 25 years from now when, despite the family longevity, I doubt I'll still be here.
This is purely fantasy. Solomon, now aged 60, is sitting in front of a huge monitor in a basement apartment dressed in his skivvies and surrounded by empty cartons of BBQ wings, pizza and chinese take-out boxes. A big box of Froot Loops has fallen over, crushed Loops are strewn around with some mashed into the old carpet, and a half-empty juice container hovers precariously by the screen. CraigsList is still going strong, CD is still going strong, Lavawhatever is still going strong and there are so many more sites which keep him endlessly searching. Results - pricelessly none.

Such is life I guess.
Are you saying that Lavalife is one of those pay per minute deals? He seems so excited about it but he IS very cheap. Even seeing someone for a first meet he doesn't want to spring for more than just one coffee. And ultimately it really is all for nothing where the poor boy is concerned. Sigh.

I know. Sad, isn't it. 35 years old (he got very testy earlier on this year when I said he was 35 but it's almost year's end and he can't stop claiming magical number 34 forever). Your handle of twista6002 will no doubt be a source of merriment for those who remember the "Naked Twister" repartee which ensued on one of his earlier threads.
if you leave your apartment you can meet girls that way too.
Ten bucks he prefers the phone/internet because in person women reject or ignore him outright, but on the phone he can maintain his delusion that he's the Ladies' Man.

Yep, there is definitely a high phone bill heading TV's way. I guess he didn't read the fine print. Perhaps TVSG will enlighten us when he gets home tonight whether he has called the cost of Lavalove.

I don't recall the "Naked Twister". Could you enlighten me STT? I know a guy who is a "friend" of my brother (probably is my brother) who spend $900. on one month of Lavalicious.. My brother finally did marry (a very naive woman) at the age of 38. He, like TVSG has a pretty decent job. He still spends all his money on takeout food (Chinese, pizza, lasagna, wings), tv and sports, attendance at football games and concerts, (where he spends enormous amounts of cash on trinkets for himself). All this, sans wife. He moved out from my parents' home at around 37. He wife told me recently she wants a divorce. Sigh!! See where I am going with this.

I should have said whether he has calculated the cost of Lavalove.
