It is not the norm, but not uncommon. We have lots of couples with that age difference here.
For example:
My dad was 23 when he dated my almost 17 year old mother.
A friend of me: His parents were 24 and 16 at the time they felt in love.
Here in Belgium, that would be completely normal.
In the rest of Europe too.
No. Quite frankly there is no right or wrong age. What really matters is being compatible and having chemistry. Age can play a part, but it's not the deciding factor.
Her personality is perfect...fantastic sense of humor, incredibly smart, friendly, easy-going, not shy or quiet at all, compatible life goals...the list goes on. So I've reached the point that if I don't ask I'll regret it for the rest of my life, I can't just ignore what looks to be a nearly perfect match for the sole reason that she's 15 years younger than me.
You don't have compatible life goals. You MAY have eventually but if she's under 25 she don't have a clue what her "life goals" ultimately are. You are talkijng here about settling down with a young college girl. That's not the title of this discussion.
If she's 28 and you're 55 then yeah, think long term. If she's 21 and you're 38, enjoy it while you got it.

Actually she's not in college and not planning on going. She's already decided to devote her life to charity work. Which is what I mean by having compatible life goals.
