Doesn't scare me off men, it scares me off men on CD. It suprises me how many men are extremely bitter about women in general at such young ages. But most, not all, of the thinking from men in here is really not representational of any man I've met, been related to or dated.
Ditto on this. The sour grapes thing really amazes me.
I have male friends from my high school years who are among my FB friends and have gone through some tumultuous divorces, but not one is that unhappy like some guys that inhabit the pages of CD.
I too am very surprised at the number of bitter, angry and clearly misogynist men there are on CD. And at such a young age as well. It actually appears the older men are way less bitter and mean.
In saying that I have to counter with the other men on CD, the intelligent, funny and thoughtful ones. They are more representative of the men I see in my everyday life.

Reading this threat it is implied at all the men here have a chip on their shoulder. Is that truly the case or is it perception?

I think it may be more of a perception. Recently we had a wave of beta manlet, TVSG and other threads like it where guys were trashing the women stating they only wanted A, B, C and D and heaven help them if they didn't have all those things. If any newbie to this forum came in at that point they probably high tailed it out of here.
There are quite a decent number of men and women here on CD. There are just some who behave otherwise.
Well, you most definitely have an ex chip on your shoulder!
