Ditto. You have some important values clashing and I doubt she could let it go. You probably could have described your exes in ANY way and she would be hung up on them.
We all have that friend that could potentially be more should they show enough interest. Well thats the situation I'm in. My female friend has recently made it known that she has taken quite the interest in exploring a relationship with me. I'm most certainly not opposed as I know her very well and we are some what close. Plus shes very attractive.
Here is the problem, at least 4 times a day she brings up my past relationship; the majority of which were with women outside of my ethnicity. Initially I understood why she would have some reservations but now its becoming extremely annoying. I'm bombarded with questions like:
So how is sex with "insert ethnicity" women?
Do you still wish you were with your last "insert ethnicity" partner?
I don't think I'll ever be as sexually open as "insert ethnicity" women, they are easy.
Blah, blah, blah.....****s getting real old, how do bring this to her attention without her accusing me of being partial to a certain ethnicity? (because I'm not).
I had to laugh when I read this because I've been there in your shoes before. I'm white, I've not always stayed within my "parameters" either. I don't automatically see skin color when I meet new people. I'm not by nature a prejudice person either but, in mixed company I'm very careful about what I say when they ask about my single life and who I had dated back then.
I would give this advice. If your friend is so obsessed now with the fact that you've had some variety, how is she going to be once you sleep with her? It may not be worth it to take that route.
Doesn't sound worth the trouble to me. At some point you two will get into a disagreement or argument, and you can be sure she'll bring up the ex-girlfriends of other races. It'll happen after sex, it'll happen during an argument, and it will happen anytime a pretty girl of that ethicity/race is seen in public while you two are together. Cut your losses.
She's racist and annoying as hell. I couldn't even be friends with her. If shes that bad now (4 times a day is pretty extreme imo) imagine what she'll be like when you're in a long term relationship with her. ugh!

Yes, I think I've had the final straw. I was asked if I would ever date outside my ethnicity if we were to date/break up and without hesitation I responded "hell yes". She hung up and hasn't called or text since. Its unfortunate that something of this nature has brought out a side of her previously unseen. I've known her 12 years and it seems that we may no longer have a friendship because of her true colors.
Sounds not only like a racist and bigoted person but also someone who has an unhealthy obsession with your relationship and sexual past . I personally stay away from people like that. Life is too short to put up with that sort of person.
