Polyamorous people – what’s your view? (wife, boyfriend, girlfriend)

People who identify as polyamorous typically reject the view that sexual and relational exclusivity are necessary for deep, committed long-term loving relationships.

I think it’s wonderful that they know what they want and aren’t going to lead anyone on just to go with the flow of society’s expectations.

They want sex and companionship. With more than one person.

HOWEVER

there are a lot of people who disagree with Polyamory and think the people who live these lives are just using a fancy word to mask the fact that they like to screw around.

What do you think?

I sound repetitiive, but whatever works for them is fine as long as their partner understands and is cool with it. I couldn't handle it personally though...

I have a friend who has both a girlfriend and a boyfriend, and they all are exclusive with each other.

I don't really understand how it's possible, but it seems to work for them, they're happy, so who am I to judge?

I'm definitely a one-man kind of woman, though. I couldn't do it.

It's more of a mental condition I'd recommend therapy

But if it’s something they enjoy and it's not hurting them, why would they need therapy to change it?

Recently a "famed" poster on the board got drunk and got on bed with another man, and of course a woman LMAO
