Had a fun time last night - one of the dancers called in after she left to ask if I'd found her snake.
It's just a baby - three feet or so and only four months old - and she keeps it in a small purse. Somehow, and I think demon spirits are to blame, the purse ended up leaving with a customer with whom she was supposed to get a ride.
So there's valiant Phil looking into crevices at three in the morning with a flashlight, going "Here, snakey...HEEEERRREEEEE, Snakey-Wakey..."
Snakey didn't answer. Turns out the customer took it to another club and gave it to the bartender (whom he has the hots for). The bartender either took it home or gave it away, because the trail goes cold there besides rumors to the effect that Snakey is now residing in the ASPCA - I've never known the local one to take in snakes, though...
So, the saga continues...GREAT content for my blog!
