I am very excited. The Dude (Jeff Bridges) playing John Wayne in the remake of True Grit by the Coen Brothers coming out in about 10 days.
Only The Dude could attept to play John Wayne. It's got to be a classic.
I want to see that, too. I must have seen True Grit, or parts of it, when I was younger, but I don't really remember it. I've seen the trailer, though, and The Dude -- I mean, Jeff Bridges looks very good in it.
We've seen Lebowski only about a few hundred times , but our VHS player died and we haven't seen it in a while. Believe it or not, we just now tonight added it to our streaming queue in Netflix. True Grit -- I mean, true story.

One of the very best actors of all times is Robert Duvall who plays the bad guy in the original. IMO few actors compare to Duvall.
To keep this about relationships and not get moved to the movie section...... Maybe we could all plan on date night when it comes out. But if you accept, you need to know I do put out on the 1st date.
