Thanks...I do too..haha...he has been very persistent, and I finally said yes. I don't know if I am going to throw up or dance.

I haven't been on a "first date" since my husband first asked me out in early '93.

Hmm, I don't quite get this jitters deal... I don't feel like I'm going to audition for a position myself; the point is checking whether he is good enough for ME! As you know, I don't consider first dates a particularly fun activity, but they don't make me nervous.

I usually got them, but maybe that's because I was young. I also remember, that if I didn't really have any nervous excitement, it usually meant that I wasn't that attracted to the guy in the first place.

For those who like low brow, yet good writing, I highly suggest Charles Bukowski's book of prose. Love is a dog from hell.

Besides I didn't like that one either.

Check out the one I listed... yes, its crude, but like the reviewer of the link I posted said. Its honest, and he actually really is a good writer. Says a lot in very little.
