May I just say...awesome?

I suppose I'm a mountain lion since I live in the western U.S. and married a man four years younger than I.

I went out with a young guy last spring from Honduras (but lives in metro ATL). He kept texting me from a bar in NOLA at 5 am one morning, drunk as a skunk. NEXT!!!!

Still... what's a cougar in Honduras?

You are attractive! Cute Apple.

I am one of those older women who can wear a shorter skirt. I have great legs. Too bad the rest of me isn't all that. But I'll take what I can get. I don't wear minis but I do wear above the knee.

There are too many in our age group sporting the Grandma/Grandpa gave up look. Older people can still look good if they care to. I look better now than I did when I was 20 or 30 comparatively speaking.

I am with a younger man. I don't really think that makes me a cougar though. That's just the way it happened. He's not a lot younger, just a little.

I just wanted to show that I am not someone who is sliding down the wall, that I try and stay fit, and in decent shape (I am more buffet then buff though) But thank you for the compliment.

It seems that people make a judgment and once they make it the words are inconsequential, I have posted all along this thread has NOTHING to do with a woman looking her best, or a older woman, wearing younger clothing. This was about the older women who spend TONS of money on plastic surgeries / etc to desperately cling on, and who turn themselves into hideous silicon filled, plastic surgery stretched barbie dolls

Actually you did say it had to do with their clothing, it's in your original post that started this thread. If there's one thing I learned posting on any internet forum, you have to say what you mean from the start and include as much clarification in your original post/thread, or else much of it will be left to interpretation and then you'll seem as though you are back peddling.

I sit corrected, I did add the word "dress" in my post.

I don't mind my age. That's all good.

But if I had a lot of money, I would 'fix' a few things. To look better for ME, not anyone else. Not necessarily even younger, just better.

I'd do that but I don't think I would even be close to the silicone-filled Barbie look. I see women like that all the time(I live in Vegas) and I agree there comes a point when more is less. I feel bad for women with no expression left in their faces....

Does "Old Women v. Cougars" sound like a WWF match to anyone else but me? "SMACKDOWN!!!"

That's how I look at it, too. I'm 40, and so far have been lucky in the wrinkles department, because I don't have a single line on my face. But that day will come.

I don't want to look like anybody else; I'm content with how I look. I just want to look my best, regardless of age.
