Sadly enough, women do want a tall man. One poster even said 5'8 as though that was short! I am 5'4 and I get completly overlooked by women. On-line dating.. forget it! I might consider "elevator" shoes, but honestly it seems to desperate. I have to be honest with myself. I still do pretty well, especially considering my height. It's better to have good "game" as opposed to elevators, at least in my book

Thank you, advertiser, for the much needed thread bump due to all the complaints some short men are having.

Also known as lift kits; you can "level" the playing field

I was going to reply to the OP, but then read the second post and saw I already did, almost 3 years ago.

I had a neighbor at one time who was short and wore elevator shoes. It made him walk funny.

So instead of looking like a short guy, he looked like a short guy wearing elevator shoes. Still short, just a strange walk and a public announcement that he was insecure.

How much of a difference can elevator shoes make? 1"? 2" ? Anything more than that and they'll look ridiculous. So what's the difference between a 5'6" guy and a 5"8" guy? Not much. Not enough to make a dramatic difference, like the OP claims.

Actually, certain shoes can raise by 3 inches while looking like normal sneakers.

And the difference can be being taller than 65% rather than 45% of the female population.

I would get conversation on online dating sites and then women would disappear once I told them I was 5'6 (really 5'6 3/4 Hehe). Then I figured that women wear push up bras, makeup, heels and stomach belts (or w/e you call em), so why not try elevator shoes. What a difference! When I go out women don't shoot me down right away and let me talk. I have had more sex than I could believe and women want to date me! Only one made a nasty comment how she felt she was cheated when I took my shoes off and I told her how us men feel cheated when the wonder bras and foundation came off and I still slept with her. All I needed was a way in, and now I've got it!
Love this guy!!! Totally hilarious. Wonder bra. LOL!!

Most womens cutoff on old is 5'8..well 5'10 really but under 5'8 is a death sentence

Plus 5'6 is like 3 or 4 inches under average 5'8 is an inch or two below..a 5'6 guy is alot shroter then your average man and is stick out short 5"8 is slightly shorter then average
