The guys on the radio this morning were joking about getting "some Filipina woman" to take care of them when they are old bachelors. I hear men on these board say they'd like a foreign wife, which usually entails some combination of domesticity, modesty, submission, etc. A good little wife cooking and cleaning, that kind of thing. Which is no big deal if everybody is happy. Moving here is a step up for many women around the world--they can cook and clean and be good little wives for a man back home. So they come here for the money and opportunity, not necessarily because they're golddiggers. They might just want a better life.
American women don't typically seek a "good little husband" that way. They might want someone suave, sophisticated, worldly, etc., but the market for that kind of man is different from one for a poor woman who wants to leave home and send some money to her mother.
The numbers dont lie.. opinions on why you far more commonly see American men and foreign women get together than the other way around.
I think "some" see somethings that our gals miss. Sometimes it takes an outsider to see the whole picture and what you've done. You are also a symbol of freedom and making the most of it. They don't take that for granted.

What do you mean by American men and foreign women? Like naturalized citizens or fresh off the boat? What if the "american" guy is a second generation immigrant?
The only places I see a deep mixing pot are at the VA (meet your japanese or filipina wife overseas?), at universities, or in areas populated by a mix of ethnicities (naturally increased probability).

Exactly. If it was common for American women to do those things happily then these guys wouldn’t look elsewhere I suppose.

That’s what have questioned before in other threads. Women look for men who are from a higher level (more money, more prestigious job, better car, big house, etc.) or at the very least the same level but not sure when it would make them golddiggers or when it would make them “women”.
Why do American men look for foreign women while American women don’t? Women don’t look for men who are from lower levels. While it is common for a man to marry a woman from a third world country and take her back home to put her in college, get her a car, buy her new clothes, put a roof over her head, send money to her parents, etc. It is not common at all for women to do that for a man. Women’s preferences for a mate sound a bit more strict compared to men. Something women have even agreed on.

Yep.. It's in a mans nature to need to be respected by those he loves. . A female freind of mine once told me.. "American women would have much more success in their marriages if instead of faking orgasms, they faked the respect that they have for their husbands"
