To be honest to me cheating is cheating. There is a reason she cheated and that is the bigger problem. Now if she cheated with a dude it would be get the hell out and don't come back. If it was a woman I would be extremely pissed, but find a way to work past it. For me it is just two different levels.
I think i wouldnt be as pissed but at the same time, i would not keep the relationship going if i didnt feel she was truely repentant and it wasn't going to happen again. If it had happened several times before i found out about it. Its over.
Not only would I forgive her, but knowing her predilections I'd congratulate her on her good taste.
And of course, here are the standard disclaimers - what do they mean by "cheat"? Is she leaving me? Is this the first time? Is there a threesome in my future? Is she switching teams or just bi-curious?
Men aren't nearly as embarrassed if their wife cheats with another man than if she is a lesbian.
The latter calls into question his manhood (so he may wish to cover it up by ignoring it).
In contrast, the latter merely confirms what most men know about married women - they cheat to get the rush of being with an exciting, a$$ kisser and are bored with the decent, supporting man that they married who lost their respect by being too accommodating.
If I was a married man I would much rather my wife cheat on me with a woman than a man. Another man I could never forgive and she'd be served divorce papers asap.
If I weren't consulted beforehand, I'd consider it cheating and react accordingly. I have met hundreds of bi women who play with other women with their husbands' consent, and often participation, especially if the other woman is part of a couple. There are a LOT of swinging couples with bisexual women. So I'm happy that my wife is straight and has no interest in women. (Of course, the downside is that she won't be bringing home a girlfriend to share with me! LOL)
Since we are going hypothetical....Cat, lets say you actually did land a woman. (female, and human species).
I think you should be grateful even if she boinked a man, woman, donkey, and tree all on the same day. Did that help?
