LOL Right on! I am forever grateful that I have learned this valuable lesson from you.
The best of the best will always be the best. You are best for a reason. Without further to do, I'll leave you gals with the guys who walk with their heads down. That's what you really want anyway. Don't lie either! lol
You don't, that's the whole point. Confusing confidence with arrogance and being conceded is a very common mistake. Men don't make it nearly as much. I still trust my doc with the goofy laugh, bad jokes, out of style haircut and pot belly at the end of the day. Do you know why? He is good.
If you can back up everything you speak of, who cares? Stating facts doesn't make you conceited or arrogant. Like I said, it's all in the eyes of who's listening. If you can design a jet engine, are you going to say you only do lawn and garden? Hell no you aren't. Lesson learned today is to l-i-s-t-e-n. No guy likes a gal who calls him an a**hole for talking about what he is good at.
Texas User, in order to be cocky and conceited, you have to believe you are better than everyone else for some reason. So what are you selling? Are you handsome or smart or what? A conceited guy with no goods is a douche.
I know there are men out there who are like that. Please share.
The first would require that you have been told for a long time how handsome, desirable and great that you are. And it is all true! At least you firmly know that it is that way. Stuck-up is where you turn down the numerous advances from the poor desperate women that want your notice and approval. Sucks to be them. Being cocky does not really fit with being stuck-up. Being cocky would require you to take action. Because you are cocky and not afraid of failure. You have a belief in your abilities to carry the day.
Some folks with confuse someone for being arrogant when he/she is confident.
No. It is you who is confusing the terms. There is no mistaking arrogance...and believe me, it isn't attractive or appealing, at ALL. Confidence is a different attitude altogether. One, apparently, that you do not have.
