I've heard of folks who join the military, retire, then become cops or federal workers and retire. Double retirement pay I think :P

hahah... it's a pretty ho-hum job. Helpful for the sworn officers, but they basically just man gates and help provide security and traffic direction for events. It can be a good foot in the door though, as well as getting contacts who could provide good recommendations in the future. Considering the career field I aspire to end up in, a glowing letter from someone high in the ranks of the department would not hurt at all.

Neither do sexy goddesses. We don't have time, because we are too busy being worshipped by our adoring public.

Our dog also swiped a thawing turkey out of the sink and buried it in the backyard.
Yeah, she had this thing for bleach - weird!! If I cleaned something with Clorox Cleanup..she'd be right there sniffing all over. And LORD...if I cleaned the floor with it? She'd be rolling around in it like a pig in mud, if I didn't catch her.

Big whoop. Find a job that is close to campus!. Jaysus man...where is your initiative?? Ambition? I can't believe your parents are still handing you money and you aren't even contributing one damn cent. Handouts are for moochers and lazy good-for-nothings. Is that what you are????? Sure is sounding like it.
