I don't know why people are so agitated with this holiday. It doesn't bother me because I know some clueless people don't buy or give gifts to their partners unless told to or prodded. If it wasn't for V-day or birthdays, some people would never get a gift.
I don't understand it, either. It's about the most innocuous occasion of all, and one really doesn't have to spend a lot on it unless one has a mate with expensive, snobby needs.

We don't celebrate it because of a bad tragedy in our lives that happened around Valentine's Day, but until then I used to love it, and I bought candy or flowers or "whatevers" for him, too.

I think it just makes people (particularly guys) feel uncomfortable about being sentimental or "corny".

I don't know many women who would be angry about this scenario from their men.
Switch the 'hers' and 'hims' and 'men' and 'women' and you've got a deal.

Why celebrate Valentine's Day just as a couple?

Pick up for your phones and contact your friends and family and tell them you love them! If you haven't talked to a friend in a long time, reach out to them.

You never know whose heart you'll touch this Valentine's Day

I don't think I will ever understand women, really, she said she loved the Mala beads so why was she crying, like I said I'll never understand, just happy she liked them.

I would melt if a guy made me a heart shaped cake. Even if it was from a box mix with canned frosting.
