Its really no ones business what your sister or anyone does with their lives. Your sister is not over the hill & as long as shes happy thats all that counts. I have seen loads of people in relationships or have dated alot of people & they are miserable human beings.

I wish I had not had the incredible want for sex...I would have been much happier just being celibate. But some of us are not "wired" that way. I wish I could have never dated, and just focused on myself and my career...oh well...

So is she right, is it quite common in our society for lots of people to never date or even have a kiss but are already in their forties.

(How can a person service their needs for closeness, love and sex if they don't date?)
why in the world would that be sick?

If she's happy, then what is the problem?

Well, it's not sick, just kind of odd. I guess she doesn't care for guys.

Are you, Steel7, the Regular Guy? If so, who cares if she's fridged. You're weird to say your sister is sick and now to say she might be fridged. Why don't you mind your own business?

Is she a nun???

... just kidding!

If Sis is happy with her life then it is not wrong or sick or bad. People are entitled to live the life they want to live.

Most of us love and cherish sex. We are sexual beings, and it is one of the greatest pleasures and romance gives most of our lives meaning. Sis is one of the exceptions. That's all.

I don't think it is SICK, just a little odd. My SIL is 42 and pretty much in the same boat, and isn't happy. A few dates in the 20 years of knowing her. She is not a happy person in general. Has a "poor me" attitude.

For some reason it seems she is turned off to the closeness that goes along with dating. Extreme mama's girl and appears to be almost asexual. I've tried to suggest online dating, but won't even try it. If she did meet a great guy, she'd probably find something wrong with him.
