Sounds like a wonderful experience and something that really elevates your soul.

I've never spent any time in Florida.
I wonder what you would think about fishing in Florida, I doubt it can compare to Hawaii.

I am going to be offline for a couple of days - hopefully I'll be back by Tuesday, but it depends. Many of you have my e-mail address which my husband will be monitoring it.

Have a great week.

My favorite from the ocean is fillet of sole & deepfried battered Calamari, & shrimp. Also fishfry style Cod.

I get a great deal of enjoyment using my boats out in the waterways. The one i use most is my 1994 Alumacraft Lunker 16'. She has a Nissan 40hp outboard, & a bowmount foot control Minnkota Edge 50# thrust. She has starboard steering. Sometimes i troll with my 15hp Chrysler.

@ Hawk I'm partial to plain ol ordinary codfish. Fried. I like assorted rockfish equally but they are a lot more work to clean. I had Stratos bass boat, I used it for all manner of lake fishing although I didnt buy it for nothing, bass and particularly smallies are a favorite pursuit.

@ mm I think just about anybody could enjoy a beautiful lake at sun up. There isnt much to not like. Florida has great fishing for many types of fishes, ocean and freshwater. As good as anywhere IMO and better than many places by default since there is little ocean in Kansas.

I've already had 3 Red Deaths tonight, so I'm on my way to being fully potted - I mean, half-full.
