I have seldom regreted taking cash out of the shoe box. Just saying.

Sorry, I hadn't meant to be obtuse. Yeah, I try and look to the future just like the next guy but I think letting go and doing that crazy thing that you probably shouldn't is something we all need to do once in a while. Not that I'm saying spending your kids college money on strippers is a good idea (no insult intended phil, a lap dance here or there is good for the soul) but what's the point of living if you don't live?

Based upon your profile picture, I'd say I'd only have to pay you $1,000 or so.

And split some of that Cristal with me.

On a more concerned note: I wonder if the zombies will be merciful?
Aw, we'll invite the crowd here and use the grand for snacks.

I'm not worried about zombies, pretty sure they're already among us. Besides, Woody Harrelson made it look easy. Right, Djuna?

I have never regretted it. I think all of us might spend our shoebox cash a bit differently, but I for one am all for occasional sensible piggy bank breaking.

Even when I'm totally broke, I never regret spending on an indulgence once in a while. It's what living is for.

I worked for a company for 15 yrs, I left them about 6 yrs ago. When I left the old company and started with the new one, I told the new company I didn't want to start for a couple of months.

I basically blew through 2 months of my savings.

I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
