that if you lose weight, people tends to act "nicer"? I have, at least men.
I started dieting and stop consuming alcohol like 2.5 months ago and already lost 15 pounds... and I have noticed a change in people. They are nicer, and they compliment my clothes more.
I am aiming to loose at least 25 more pounds (I am not overweight right now, just a very small frame); however the last time I weighted my ideal weight it was a little overwhelming the attention from men. That is one of the reasons I gained a lot of weight back. Attention can be a little overwhelming.
So maybe it is me but I have noticed people tend to be a little less nicer to overweight peers.
Being overweight can make one invisible. I know because I've been there. I do notice a lot more attention and, you are right, it can be overwhelming. It makes me want to regain sometimes, too, but we have to put our health over being uncomfortable with attention.
When I reached my lowest weight (I don't want to write the number here, just in case people with ED's read it and might trigger a reaction), I honestly hated men. They were like all over the place. After that I got married and regained some.
I know men will really start to notice in about 10 pounds. I just need to be able to manage all the attention(although I am older now so maybe it wont be as bad)
No and no and NO! We're nice to gals who don't break our balls. Good or bad looking!
Chris Rock had a funny bit about when a man asks a woman "Can I help you?" He really is asking "Can I f#*% you?" Hyperbole for humors sake but it has a ring of truth to it!!
That sounds bitter. Yes, there are some men like that but there are many who aren't.
All MOST of us want is to be able to share some conversation without someone calling us a loser, egotistical, "bitter" lol, or have no sympathy or compassion for even the most traumatic events. Example (A) Joe's wife left him. Well, what did Joe do?
