Must be why so many younger guys are dating older women nowadays

Good luck... I guess i have no better advice than others have already given.

Don't fall into the easy trap of trying to blame everybody else for where you find yourself Focus on the positive!

Do you have a university anywhere near where you live? You could try hanging out at a few clubs nearby or just attend some university events to meet people. Not that you want the 18 year old freshman, I get that. But you aren't so far removed from college that you couldn't date a 20 year old junior.

there are tons of hot women out there. they are at stores, shopping all across the country. you just have to figure out how to approach them in public. they are there.

I live in an apartment by myself in the suburbs and its torture. Solitary confinement.

If moving to a trendier area of your town isn't an option then you are going to have to start going to where people your age hang out more often

I don't even care for hot woman. Just any average-looking girl with a decent head on her shoulders would suffice.

Store approaches are weird because 1) I'm in and out so quick as I dislike the whole shopping experience and 2) if I stick around scoping out girls, I feel phony even being in the store for first place.

I think I could do well in a party type environment but how do I get myself invited to one in the first place?

OK, you really need to use your brain. If you were a woman, how would you want to be approached, if you were available and wanting to meet someone? A couple of clues here: safety guaranteed, and something casual.

You don't have to go to a house party - you can go to a party hosted by a club or bar (where I'm from the radio stations host happy hours and late night things every weekend at different bars around town - several of which are in the 'burbs).

You could also try online dating - it won't do any harm and if nothing else you'll at least meet people. But yes, waiting in the suburbs is not going to get you anywhere. You have to actively try (and yes, I know this is easier said than done). Also, try volunteering - find a cause you're interested in and help out. There are plenty of people in the age range you're targeting that volunteer.

Do NOT take the advice of losing your virginity to a prostitute. Talk about inane "advice." Do you want to be 65 and sitting on the porch, looking back over your life and say, "I finally got laid at 24 but had to pay $200 to a Reno ***** to do it."

?

I didn't think so.
