No. No guy should ever try to pick up women unless he's wearing a suit, without any regard to whether a suit is actually appropriate attire for the occasion or venue.
Seriously, what the hell kind of question is this?
Dress for appropriateness of the place you are. A casual singles bar isn't really a suit event unless you are stopping in for a few after work. If you want to step up a pair of jeans wear a sport coat. Otherwise, I look at how a person is dressed relative to where they are. If I was out on a Saturday night tipping a few with my girlfriends I'd probably think the guy in the suit is odd.

A good question regarding how men should dress to impress women.
Oh for **** sakes people... Clean clothes would be a good start. If it is casual singles bar then dress casually. No need to overthink things. If you still feel the need to dress up... Then wear a damn blazer. For the love of ov everything that is good... Make for sure that it fits well.
Suits are for formal occaisions. Either social or for business.
Yea, I always wear a nice track suit when I pick up on the ladies. The Adidas suit never fails me, and the ladies love it. Just make sure you have a pinky ring and a gold watch.
