There's something I don't understand. Oprah had said she was not going to be in the same channel anymore, and would move her show to the O Network. Or whatever her network is called. Now they are saying that she is not going to have a show anymore. Am I missing something?
So I did it. I have joined the dark side. I am now part of facebook. For my friends.
And I took my empty water bottle, and I threw it on the ground!
So did you use your real name on your page? I'm so tempted to do this but I really don't need Suzie from middle school finding me and connecting...if I wanted to talk to her I'd have kept in touch.

I do family only on mine. I did not start with that policy, as I began my friends list grew somewhat over a hundred. The majority of it was people I barely knew and worse there was that annoying percentage that you find in everything. For my purposes that mostly means people who feel compelled to post a bazillion times a day over everything and nothing. I.E. "Im going to take a crap" four minutes later "crapping" few minutes after that "wiping" and then that will then soon provide the material for general commentary on using the bathroom. Not only do I not want to know or care but this kind of stuff from just a few people can completely fill your page forcing you to click older posts to see posts you haven't read but might actually be interested in. I unfriended the lot leaving family only. When asked I told people it had become unmanageable and I had switched to family only. Now I actually like facebook as it has some meaning to me.
Thanks guys. Was hoping for a 10 (ten fingers, ten toes) and got one. A baby girl named helen after her grandmother on the moms side. Seems so fragile, I was scared to hold her. I remember getting home a few days before my daughter was born and the calluses on my hands scratched her and I had to wear gloves when I held her. This girl I get to touch.
Since last night my tailbone really hurts and I don't know why. I didn't do anything for it to happen and now it's going to muck-up my weekend if it doesn't go away. I feel like an old woman when I go sit down or have to stand up.
On a brighter note, I just finished registering my son to 3-weeks sleepaway in beautiful PA. I'm so happy & excited (and nervous) for him. Hahaha, no cell phones or full-time internet access are allowed. If he were home, he'd be vegetating in front of his computer all day.
I love her name...it honors the family and it's a classic.
