Has anyone of you guys ever skydived? I have been thinking about it, I'm really really scared.

I am too chicken too. I am phobic about falling, and the thought of 1) jumping and 2) the ground coming at me makes the skin on my legs crawl. I used to think I should go skydiving and face my fear, but every now and then you hear about some experienced, seasoned skydiver with hundreds or thousands of jumps under his belt dying because his chute does not open. No. If it can happen to them, it can happen to me. Just no, I've decided.
Now, roller coasters I love--I would go on that one with you--but I have lost my stomach for it. I used to be able to go on almost anything. Now I quickly feel like I'm going to ***. I don't know if I'm out of practice or what. And some of the wooden ones are so bumpy that it hurts my neck.
I just don't like the ones where I am dangling or don't feel that there's something stable under my feet. Hot air balloons ... no way.
I love the simulated coaster rides and will go on the roller coasters that don't do inverted loops, but otherwise I prefer my two feet on the ground. I also hate to fly, although I will settle down once the plane reaches altitude and I see the flight attendants chatting it up and moving around.
Oh I love roller coasters, for the past two summers a couple friends and i would get season passes to the nearby Six Flags and go very often. Gotta love the Superman.
I used to love rollercoasters when I was a kid. Then I read about metal failure analysis.
Ignorance really is bliss.
