Did I hear that accent correctly? That's killer.

I really don't have you pegged as dense... That's why I didn't get it.

Sorry, I just put the "V" to match your name. I don't have the V accent and don't like it. It's funny how that works. I used to like accents in my mother tongue, but I don't like any in English, even though I have an accent myself. I think it's because it makes communication difficult. At least one person ought to be a native speaker in order for this irritation to be avoided, in my opinion and experience.

Too late. The accent is in my head and it's not coming out.

Have fun with it! The Russians will appreciate it.

LOL...thanks sweetie!

In all seriousness, when I was single (waaaaay back when ) I never asked a guy out. If I were to ever find myself single again, I wouldn't have a problem asking a guy out.

However, I'm not sure I would've had the same answer at 20 as 40.

Yeah... life is sad... Sometimes I think of going back for a vacation to a country I had a lot of fun in in the past and relive the experience. Then I remind myself that the experience won't be exactly the same...

Life has a way of ruining the innocence of youth but with age comes the gift of wisdom......although depending on your mileage it can be a curse!

But darling....wisdom comes in many different ways! You are a smart cookie for sure. Just so happens my BS detector/deflector got better with age.
