I think a weird location definitely adds to the appeal. I've done it in the woods, at work, in a parking garage. The thrill of the possibility of being seen heightens the pleasure. (Of course, I would feel different if we actually WERE seen!)
The location matters to my wife; if we are out and public and people are around (we can hear and see them) but that can't see us, then she will jump me no matter what.
