I always thought Rapture was a Blondie Song.

I told a female friend of 20+ years, that I have always loved her... Just in case

Maybe the end is a new start for some of us.

Though to be fair, Catholics do not generally use the word "rapture" - it's more common among evangelicals and fundamentalists - or subscribe to the evangelical definition of it.

However, the fact that Jesus is coming again is the important news, not the speculation that so many engage in
I know Catholics believe in the second coming, but we don't believe in the "Left Behind" rapture narrative (for lack of a better term) as a lot of non mainline protestant churches do.

Years ago there was a Jerry Lewis movie where he was mistakenly told he was going to die and it was funny because the audience knew he wasn't!!Just don't do anything rash in case you don't get taken!! !

Okay, gotcha

Yeah, that whole "Left Behind" fiction series has generated a lot of interest in what's going to happen when Jesus comes again for sure, and no Catholics don't subscribe to the evangelical viewpoint. But like I said, the important thing is that He's coming again - all the rest is just details

Catholics believe "He will come again to judge the living and the dead...and his Kingdom will have no end".
