He's semi-retired, lives in a rural area, and is bored out of his mind. I really hope I don't end up that way when I retire.......if I live that long

He doesn't have squat for retirement so he survives off SS and works when he wants extra cash. My parents are worse off, they sit around and gripe about money. One medical emergency and they're ruined. I noticed not doing anything really narrows your perspective, always wind up in the same circle of topic.
