Once when my car was stolen I called it in to the police. They said they'd send someone over to take a report later. Thinking I had time, I took a quick shower. Afterwards, wrapped in a towel and still dripping wet, there's a knock on the door. I open it and there's two female cops. I filed the report while drip-drying in my kitchen trying to keep the tuck on that towel in place.
I've answered the door in my underwear before, and I've taken out the trash in underwear as well. Not a big deal. People see more at the beach.

No, and I've had to scurry to put on some clothes many times when someone came to the door. I had a coworker a few years ago who didn't show up for work one morning and a couple of supervisors went to her apartment which was just a couple blocks away because they were worried about her and she answered the door completely drunk and naked and had no idea what day it was. I doubt if she even remembered it but she did finally get fired for all of her drunken escapades.
I have had to wake up and run to answer the door naked or semi-naked, blind (no glasses), and disoriented for UPS a lot of times if I am on a night schedule. I really hate missing packages cuz it's a hassle to pick them up. I just try to keep my body behind the door LOL. They must think I'm insane. Of course not being able to see the person making the delivery makes it easier not to feel shame.
Sounds like some of y'all need to buy a bathrobe. They're handy.
