She ran across the dance floor and grabbed my arm, then tried to chew my ear off - okay, more like talk it off, but you get the idea. My wife saw the whole thing (she was demonstrating with the instructor so could see events unfold), and had a hard time not bursting into laughter. Thankfully, I was eventually able to escape by using the time-tested cougar repellant: "That's my wife over there." I was shaken by my brush with death, but soon recovered.
Lol, judging from your location, you're in gray cougar central!

Calling older women 'cougars' really objectifies them. They are humans with feelings.

You might THINK they are hitting on you and probably in reality, the so-called cougar is just being nice and social to you.

This reeks of I don't know what.
One of the cougar stories happened 10 months ago. The other 2 were more recent.

Did you ever stop to think they were simply being nice and kind to an obviously socially inept boy?

The puma started showing signs of being interested late enough that she might of known I was socially inept (although not as socially inept as you think I am).

But the cougars started showing signs of being interested right after meeting me. Believe me, they didn't realize right away that I struggle socially.

Next time this type of situation presents itself, you should go for it and then ask her.

If it means anything (it probably does), the cougars dress like they're 23. Maybe they're trying to relive their youth.

Well, one of the cougars dresses like she's 23. The other cougar dresses like she's 18.

The puma is another story. She dresses normally for someone in her early 30s (which is relatively young anyway)

Cougars are the lovable darlings that offer their fruits of experience to the lucky ones.
