Denny, you cannot shrink (assuming you are not being sarcastic). This is my bone, my blood vessels, my legs. These are not like breast implants which may rupture.

Like you said, they will stretch you more than the US. You lucked out that nothing bad happened, but if you were less lucky you would be screwed.

Look how they handle plane crashes. They say it's the pilots fault same day as the crash(who happens to be dead, so can't defend himself) and give the family a little money and that's the end of it.

FelixTheCat, the facility has a 99% success rate. 95% success rate worldwide. You are correct I was lucky nonetheless. It was worth every penny.

Actually, we all shrink as we age.

How long have they be doing this? Who knows what the long-term consequences may be...

I see TODAY is the first day you have started a thread on this forum. And here you are writing glowing reviews of your operation and I am supposed to believe that this is not a fake review.

sierraAZ, the procedure has been done since the early 1950s. 60+ years of successful surgeries (at least at that facilities). Hard to argue against 60 years. Plenty of people on the discussion board I found out about it who had the surgery 15 years prior to now who are doing just fine. One Australian politician had the same surgery before she went into politics around 2001 or so and is doing fine also.

Kshe95girl, I could care less if I shrink when I get older. What matters is that I am the height I am now. 5'8-5'9 is not tall, but not short enough to be discriminated against. I am happy.
