Not when 35 and 46 years hands on experience isn't enough. You aren't even allowed to go out on your own without a senior for supervision for at least a year. It's too dangerous and too much can/could happen. Permits and licenses are required as well. Severe fines and punishment of violated laws/codes scare most off.You still are learning daily. It's a JOB as well, NOT a hobby. That means 40+ EVERY week on it. Fixing your door, maybe. Taking it to the top.....are you kidding?

What do you think of women that are?

it's a good thing, D-I-Y. has nothing to do with gender. ideally she would be able to make moonshine from items she found in the yard.

neither woman nor man is innately challenged in learning a skill or a trade.

I do know what I should touch and what I shouldn't touch.

Putting a belt on a dryer, sure I'll try that.... won't kill me if I get it wrong.

However, I grew up on construction sites. I do realise that there is skill & knowledge in certain trades... that I don't have the training for.

Just as some guys can't do what I do for a living..... no biggie, we're all skilled in different ways

Default Does a DIY'er woman intimidate you?

No but many are.

Intimidated? Hardly! More like relieved.

Women who are constantly asking men to solve problems (many say they really aren't, but that's a different thread) usually don't like the solution provided. They expect miracles. This can be frustrating for us super problem solvers.

It's much more complicated than that dear. Making a untrained and unlicensed common mistake that many would will cost you $10,000 if someone sees you and reports you. Possession of some tools and supplies is a crime as well. Only a novice would think like that. It's laughable really!

If they find out who sold it to you, they are in trouble as well. They won't jeopardize their business for that. There is a sign that hangs on the door of every supplier. If you aren't X, don't bother entering. You can't buy it anyway!

Well, get with a chemist. She'll have an easier time of it.

Well, this thread is based on the assertion that a vajajay renders broken arms and an inability to read. I'm trying to figure out the fancy in Mr. Fancy pants. And no, the tootsie roll doesn't help a whole lot.
