Just because you think that, doesn't mean you're right.
I know and just because some has a different opinion doesn't make them right.
That's the great think about opinions! Everyone has them and all are different.
I like an assertive man. I like to debate and have heated discussions. I can't see a shy guy who "blushes" doing this kind of thing.
And to the guy who called me sexist, I hate this quality in a female as well. I wouldn't look for a friend who acted in such a way either. She, too, would be a p*ssy.

I'm shy and not a p*ssy, so you are wrong. If you're already making these judgments, you're going to be ruling out a lot of good men. And if you like heated discussions, that screams drama and high maintenance.
He is just an eye candy unless she gets out of his shyness and grows some balls.
Sure, he might get an older agressive woman asking him out but that won't happen quite often.
Why do you want to be boring?
If you have a great sense of humor then you aren't boring.
This guy is very common.

I'm not talking about a loner, a guy scared to speak, socially awkward, boring, etc.
This hypothetical guy has a very nice personality--very sweet/genuine, great sense of humor, intelligence, modest, easy-going, friendly, wide array of interests:sports, film, etc. Fun guy and super easy to talk to...not really a "club" type of guy. Not a douchey player.
Someone who would blush and smile when you compliment his looks or something else about him.
What would you think? Is this type of guy common? Rare?
Shy guys have the most trouble getting their foot in the door. Not sure if women mind so much after the first positive connection has been made, but someone who is shy might have trouble "breaking the ice."
Right, and that jerk player who looks a better then him will ask her out and she will say yes.

Why are heated discussions drama? My ex and I would speak about politics and current events. It was great. I love a good debate.
For someone who's shy you talk a big talk behind a computer.
If someone blushed when I gave them a compliment? Yes I would think they where some kind of p*ssy.
Rare.
