Before I retired, I discovered one of my new customer's, a nurse, chewed Copenhagen. There was an open can on her kitchen counter and when I asked her who that belonged to she said it was her's, and that she chewed. Personally, if I were in the dating game, I wouldn't touch anyone who chewed or smoked. To me they are both equally gross and the breath of people who partake in chewing or smoking, stinks.

copenhagen is dip, i believe, so you're safe... no smoking or chewing involved.
I don't know, lots of men and women chew here, I see women with brown drool and men with a cheek full. I live here but I never thought of them as real people as far as dating so I could care less. Its like going to China and seeing women squatting in a ditch. You just set there and say to yourself. wow! and we had to ask to be excused from the table.
Gee, I think I'll call all the bad remarks here.....DISCRIMINATION!!
I mean, since that word is used to describe so many things today, why not use it for this topic!
I notice that chewing tobacco has been becoming more popular lately and I wanted to know what women's thoughts are on guys that chew. My friend uses chewing tobacco a lot and I always see him spitting into a water bottle full of brown spit. It seems gross to me but it doesn't seem to affect his ability to meet girls so I'm thinking women must not be all that bothered by this, am I wrong?
Oral cancers are so attractive and the possibility of dating/marrying a man who will need to have part of his jaw removed in 5-10 years, due to chewing tobacco, is just so very appealing.
I'm confused. The title is address to women. The first paragraph ends with "girls". Perhaps girls like a stinky man with stained teeth, drooling and spitting. Perhaps some women will tolerate it; but I haven't met one. and I absolutely, positively would not tolerate even one "chomp" - watch my sexy butt as I get up and head out the door.
I live in Kansas. One out of every two men I would say chews. At least in my experience. They chew, they gotta have the big loud truck, and they all wear baseball caps.
You want to go out with a guy around here you don't have much choice. But I always make it a rule, no kissing until they brush their teeth thoroughly. If they don't it's no go, period.
My ex chewed. No big deal as he was very discreet about it and he knew not to come near me if he was chewing.
In Kansas and other semi rural states, it is what it is. I don't expect people in DC or NYC or LA to even register it in their brains.
