yep. I was in love with 2 men at the same time. Loved one because he made me laugh, made me feel special, didn't give in to me, and was exciting and great in the sack.

At the same time I was in love with someone who also made me laugh, didn't give in to me all the time (but most), was stable, needed me and was willing to let me be who I wanted to be.

I married the second...but still have a spot in my heart for the first. Love doesn't just go away.

How long ago did this occur? Do you think you married the wrong person? Did the first person want to marry you and you settled? Is it possible, that you are pining for something that no longer exists?

Yeah, it's very possible but you are just begging for a broken heart.

Me, too... It was maddening, because if I could have combined the best qualities of both then I would have had the perfect man. The funny part is that I don't talk to either one of them, anymore, and haven't in several years. To my everlasting shame, I ping-ponged back and forth between them for about two years before finally coming to my senses.
