From time to time relationships can become a little mundane and routine feeling. What do you do when this happens in your relationship?
You mix it up a bit. Sometimes I would leave little letters in obvious places for her to read.
Maybe take a trip somewhere for the weekend. Just the 2 of you. Re-kindle the flame so to speak.
Do a date night every week. Take her to places where you went to during your dating stages. Take her to new places. it's exciting and romantic for her at the same time and she'll appreciate it.
Make plans to go somewhere different or something we don't do often.
Go out to lunch together during the work week. Surprise him with tickets to see a sport. Go to a signing of his fav. Player. Take a day off of work to make time for you and him.
Just the usual - we dress up in Smurf costumes and throw stale jelly donuts at each other ...

Boston Cream donuts would be fine, as long as they're fresh - fresh cream is even better than stale jelly!
Stale donuts are much safer. Fresh donuts may be so appealing that you forget the REAL reason you're there. I suppose some people would be okay with that ...

I think planning little out-of-the-ordinary things to look forward to can help. Maybe take turns planning something you want to share with the other.
Last weekend, a friend invited me out water biking. I wasn't sure about it at first, but since we did it, it's the only thing I can think about now. Can't wait to go again. Definitely makes life a little more exciting.
