Without sounding all self-congratulatory, I'd have to say right now. The kids are self-sufficient, awfully cool, and very funny. And they haven't moved away yet. I am doing the work I like for the clients I like. Mrs. CPG and I had a very good vibe going. We love our friends. The only thing I could wish for is a nice sailboat and some free time. But one could always find something to want, right?
The other time was when I met Mrs CPG and we married. Things went great until my biz partner died at the same time we were hatching kids. Then life was a very tough struggle. High school? Meh. College? Worked all the time. Single life? I didn't enjoy that nearly as much as some do. Nope. I like where I am right now.
It can be other things other than relationships....other than the usual : wedding/baby/graduation/college...whatever.
The best moments of my life occurred from 1998 - 2003. I would go back in a heartbeat.
Best moments in my life were events I attended. Mostly with my dad. My favorite sport teams winning pennants is always a highlight. Most of my best moments involve an arena, stadium or ballpark.
When I walked on air with my first love - and sat by the clear deep pond holding hands..then walked up the dusty road for miles that seemed easy to cover...Yes - that moment - in time - was heaven....sure would like to do it again ...but it looks like life hands out only a few of these.
That was the day, when, while looking on an internet dating site I was a member of, I encountered Mrs Catfish
The last 7+ years have been the best ones of my life...I am in better shape physically, mentally, financially, and emotionally today, due to her gentle, subtle influence on my life
I had to face the fact that the way I was in the past, wasn't getting me anywhere, and I had to be receptive to both changing and ultimately WANTING to change...I wouldn't trade the times with her for all the money in the world
Damn man...You got all the luck. 7 - 11....most of us roll a snake eyes. Maybe you just sat at the right table at the right time.
Some of those moments were last week when I was camping in the Loire Valley.
I'm frequently having amazing times when I travel, and I travel frequently.
Happiest moments...birth of my children! Happiest years...from the time I was 8 to about 12 when I spent great times with my Dad (biking, skating etc.)!
Past is in the past and I wouldn't change a thing about it because 1) I can't change the past and 2) because it makes me who I am today.
Almost 40 and it keeps getting better every year: More friends, better quality of life, more money, more vacation.
